I saw this recipe on line it looks simple even I could give it a try

Vegan Chocolate Cake

Ingredients :

3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
6 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups water
3/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 140° C

2. Thoroughly mix dry ingredients first (flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt).

3. Mix in wet ingredients (water, vegetable oil, vinegar, and vanilla). Continue mixing until you obtain an even batter (no lumps).

4. Pour into a cake pan and bake for approximately 40 minutes.

I think you can use Carob powder as a Chocolate substitute

Holy cow, I just looked up Carob powder and it sounds like almost too good to be true! I'll have to get my courage up and try it to see if I have a reaction. From what I've read it's a fantastic substitute for chocolate, for those who are allergic to chocolate.
How I miss a candy bar, chocolate cake, etc. etc. I'm allergic to many things (caramel, coconut, sunflower seeds, nuts, and that;s only part of them) but I'll sure give Carob a try. It sounds like it's worth it.
Thanks, Kalip!
