I was starting a stir fry last night and noticed a can of Garam Marsala and decided to do an Indian stir fry. I mixed together some curry powder for the rice, brown basmati, and used the Garam Marsala, red curry paste, cardamon, coriander, termeric and red pepper flakes for the stir fry spices. Some of those also went into the rice. The main guest were cabbage and yellow squash and I threw in a can of bamboo shoots that were already open. We usually don't have meat or seafood in our stir fry and this stayed true to Indian cooking which a lot is without meat. The stir fry oil is your choice though I used EVOO. We now have an international stir fry list.

Life may not be the party we hoped for but while we're
here we should dance.
In heaven there is no beer
That's why we're drinking it here
And when we're gone from here
All our friends will be drinking all our beer.
Let the Gemutlichkeit roll on. Ein Prosit.
Life is too short to drink cheap beer.
Aerobics are for those who don't polka.
here we should dance.

Catherine would love this. It looks like it would be a bit hot for me
but she loves these ingredients

Nice dish, sounds sumptuous, and without meat
Something I would enjoy
Never realised that you were a such a gourmet cook

Kalip, I've been cooking since I was seven years old. I learned a lot at the elbows of my mother and grand mothers. Adele is a good cook but doesn't really care to cook anymore. In her previous marriage there was combined seven children so she's about cooked out. I've had to adjust and develope my recipes to Adele's food allergies and gluten intolerance and that has been no problem for me to eat the way she does. We eat mostly a vegetable diet so a lot of my recipes are meat free. A lot of the ones I post here that do have some type of meat can easily be made with it.
